When the investor update needs a decision, keep it on the record

After a financing round, the board update stops being a casual note. Someone still has to say what was decided, who signed it, and who is doing the work afterwards.

Most teams split that across three places. The pack lives in a deck. The discussion lives in email. The signature lives in a separate tool. A month later, nobody can point to the decision without reconstructing it.

BoardiGO is the place where the board prepares, decides, signs and follows through. The cycle stays together:

  1. The pack and the agenda are ready before the meeting, with the decision visible on the item that needs one.
  2. The vote or approval happens in that meeting, not in a side thread.
  3. The signature stays attached to the decision it approves.
  4. The follow-up has an owner, so the next meeting opens with the last one actually closed.

That is the whole job of the record. When someone asks where the signed resolution is, it is the same place as the agenda item that produced it.

This is not a data room, a cap table, a GRC suite or a company-wide replacement for your signing tool. Those stay where they are. BoardiGO is the board workflow around them.

If the next investor update contains a decision, put the decision on the agenda before the meeting. The signature and the follow-up then have somewhere to live.
